About Me

In an effort to define myself, I realize that I am quite complex. Although I always strive for simplicity, I am not really all that simple. I just wish I was. I don't really think that I am fooling anyone who know me well. LOL.

My daughter Stephanie defined me best by saying that I am sophisticated and goofy at the same time. So true. Truth be told, I want to be sophisticated and classy but I am a total goof at heart. I love to laugh and have fun.

I have been a mother since I was 20 years old, have four grown kids and three grandkids and have always defined myself first as a mom. For most of my life, all my energy was focused in to motherhood and everything family.

Ten years ago, we started a small business (me & my BIG ideas) and operated out of my daughter's garage for a short while. That venture has exploded into the MAMBI that we all know an love today....It has been an amazing adventure building and managing a growing scrapbook business.

Now that my nest is empty (so to speak) I am working on building a balanced, full life with my husband, Bob. We have been married three years & love our blended "doggie family, Lily, Lucy & Tucker. We have a few great vacations planned and look forward to seeing the world together.

I am President at MAMBI and am very "lucky" to be working with my daughters; Stephanie & Lauren. My son, Brian also works in sales at MAMBI. We have a fun, growing business and an awesome staff to support our efforts...It's a good thing.

I am realizing as I mature that I don't need to control EVERYTHING.
God has that handled well. But, somehow, I still struggle with that.

I would describe myself as driven, hard-working, creative, intuitive, fun, silly, intense, loving, sensitive and strong. I have become significantly "wiser" in my more recent years.

I feel that I have had more than my share of of blessings and hardships in this life and every experience had made me the person I am today.....lucky dodo.
